Role Based Emails

What is a Role Based Email?

A Role Based Email address is typically one used by a system or a group of users. These types of email addresses typically have a higher volume of both bounce rates and abuse reports, so by default we will block them automatically whenever you import a list of email addresses into your subscriber base. You can still add these Role Based Email Addresses if you add them individually, or if a contact subscribes themselves via a form or other method.

For these reasons, it might be important to know what some common Role Based Emails are. Some common examples include:

abuse@ admin@ compliance@ dns@ list-request@ list@ maildaemon@

no-reply@ postmaster@ sales@ subscribe@ support@
